Frequently Asked Questions

THE PRODUCT

What is The Lil' Duggie?

A compact aluminum dugout with a built-in one-hitter pipe. Precision-machined to carry your herb and pipe together — smaller than you'd expect, better than anything you've used.

What is it made from?

6061-T6 aluminum, fine bead blasted and Type II anodized. Available in multiple finish colors, all produced the same way. The anodizing hardens the surface and locks in the color.

How big is The Lil' Duggie?

Three inches by two, half an inch thin — two ounces in your pocket. Smaller and lighter than a deck of cards. Full specifications are on every product page.

Is it airtight?

Not airtight, but close. The lid is machined to tight tolerances — it limits airflow and keeps contents fresh between uses.

The same fit keeps smell in check: not smell-proof, but very close — and far beyond any wooden dugout. No gaskets, no soft seals — nothing to wear out or replace.

How secure is it?

An N42 neodymium magnet holds the lid closed during normal carry. It opens when you want it to. It stays shut when you don't.

How durable is it?

Built for daily use. Solid aluminum, no moving parts to break, nothing to wear out mechanically. Like quality leather, it develops character with time — see "How does the finish wear over time?" below.

How does the finish wear over time?

The color isn't paint — anodizing converts the surface of the aluminum itself into a hardened layer, with the color sealed inside it. It will never peel, flake, or chip.

That layer is also harder than the raw metal underneath, so it shrugs off the scuffs that would mark bare aluminum — and the scratches it does pick up stay small and matte instead of bright and deep.

Over years of pocket carry, edges and contact points slowly burnish, and with enough time the sharpest edges can brighten toward bare metal. That's not the finish failing — that's a machined object recording its use, the way a leather wallet or a favorite pair of jeans does.

Every Lil' Duggie leaves here identical. No two look the same a year later.

How much does it hold?

More than you'd expect — over two grams of ground herb, measured. Most people get a week or more from a full load, often longer.

Can it be used right- or left-handed?

Yes. The Lil' Duggie is designed to be used comfortably with either hand.

Can I replace a lost pipe?

Yes. The Lil' Duggie comes with The Lil' Duggie Pipe included — and it's also available separately, precision-machined to fit exactly.

How do I clean it?

Pipe: soak in isopropyl alcohol first — it loosens the resin — then run a pipe cleaner through. Body: warm water and mild soap. Dry before storing. Full steps are on the Care & Use page.

ORDERING & SHIPPING

How much is shipping?

Accessories ship in a rigid mailer — $5 flat.

Any order with a Lil' Duggie ships in a box — $9 flat — cradled in its foam insert, protected the way it should travel.

Does the packaging say what's inside?

No. The outer packaging carries only our mark — a "d" and None Better.

Nothing on the outside says what's inside, and nothing needs explaining to a doorman, a roommate, or a front desk.

When will my order ship?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. You'll receive tracking by email the moment it ships.

How do I track my order?

The shipping confirmation email carries your tracking link. Most deliveries arrive within a few business days.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United States.

Do I have to be 21 to order?

Yes. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase from this site.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Email support@myduggie.com as soon as possible with your order number. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll make the change.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Email support@myduggie.com with a photo and your order number, and we'll make it right — replacement or refund, your choice.

GIFTING

Can I send The Lil' Duggie as a gift?

Yes. Choose the gift option on any bundle page — no address needed, no color guessing.

Your recipient receives an invitation, picks their own colors, and enters their own delivery address. Your note travels with it.

As a gift recipient, do I pay anything?

No. The gift covers the order. Nothing is due.

When does a gift ship?

As soon as your recipient chooses their colors and confirms their address. You'll be kept in the loop when it's on its way.

REVIEWS

How do I leave a review?

By invitation. About two weeks after your order arrives, we email you a private review link — whether you bought it, received it as a gift, or gave one.

If you don't get to it, we send one reminder and then leave you be.

Are the reviews real?

Yes. Every review comes through a private invitation tied to a real order — there is no open review form, so no one can review a product they don't have.

Each review is labeled with how the reviewer got theirs: Verified buyer, Gift recipient, or Gift giver. And if someone received a free product from us, their review carries a Sample tag — always disclosed.

WARRANTY & SUPPORT

Does The Lil' Duggie have a warranty?

Yes. The Lil' Duggie is built to last and backed by None Better. Manufacturing defects are covered under a one-year limited warranty. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted for 30 days from delivery. Return it with the original packaging and you'll be refunded in full, minus $9 for return shipping. Normal handling won't affect your refund.

If the original packaging isn't available, a $5 fee applies. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

What if something goes wrong?

Email support@myduggie.com with a photo and your order number. If it's a manufacturing defect, we repair or replace it — simple as that.

If you're not sure what you're looking at, send it anyway and we'll figure it out together.

What isn't covered?

Normal wear — including the way the finish ages, described above. Loss, theft, and damage from drops, modification, or misuse. If you're not sure whether something qualifies, just ask.
